Parking:
There are 19 parking spaces on the property. Some parking spots are equipped for electric vehicle charging. 18 spaces have engine block heater outlets, and one is an unheated parking space. Book a parking space
Storage:
Personal storage units and outdoor equipment storage are located on the ground floor.
Air-raid shelters:
The air-raid shelter is in the basement of the Niskakatu 16 building, entrance C; see the rescue plan (in Finnish pdf-format).
The sauna:
The sauna is located on the ground floor of stair B. Access to the sauna works with the apartment key during your reserved time or during common sauna hours. Book sauna session
Access to the sauna is available with the apartment key only during your reserved sauna turn or during the common sauna turns.
Laundry:
The laundry room and drying room are located on the ground floor of stair A at Niskakatu 16. Reservations can be made via the electronic booking board, through Joensuun Elli’s website, or using the ELS-Vision mobile app; see booking a laundry time.
Ellinet:
Internet is provided via Ethernet technology, with a maximum speed of 100/100 Mbit/s. Ellinet fee is 20€/month. See Ellinet connection.
TV and radio:
The buildings are connected to a cable television network (Elisa).
Study room:
A reservable study room is located in stair A at Niskakatu 16. It can be booked using ELS-Vision and is available to residents of Niskakatu 16 D, Niskakatu 16, and Niskakatu 15.
Waste disposal:
There is a waste collection shed in the courtyard of the Niskakatu 16 building; you are expected to sort your mixed waste, organic waste, and paper and cardboard waste.
Apartment equiptment:
Kitchen and Bathroom: All kitchens are equipped with a fridge-freezer, an induction stove, a separate oven, and space for a personal microwave. All apartments include a dishwasher. Each bathroom has a connection for a washing machine.
Ventilation: Each apartment has its own supply and exhaust ventilation unit. Its maintenance is handled by Joensuun Elli.
Materials: Bathrooms are tiled. Floors in living spaces are vinyl plank. Walls and ceilings in living areas are painted white.
